Hawaii’s own American Idol, Jasmine Trias, third-place finisher of Season 3, will be performing nightly (Wednesday thru Sunday) with the Society Of Seven at the main showroom of the Flamingo hotel in Las Vegas from February 15 to March 21.

Entertainer / singer and actress Jasmine Trias, who rose to fame as the 3rd Place finalist on Season 3 of American Idol will start a residency at The Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas in February with The Society of Seven.

Jasmine Trias, the charming American Idol finalist and darling of Hawaii, will be performing with Society of Seven for five weeks beginning Feb. 15, 2007. Rosey Cheeks entertainment producer, Mendrei, promises a fantastic, high-energy and hilarious show. “We will feature Jasmine as you’ve never seen her before. Up close with loads of talent, passion and laughs.”
In other Jasmine news, she’s currently busy in Vegas rehearsing with SOS leader Tony Ruivivar for the show and will returning home in time to sing the National Anthem at this year’s Pro Bowl at the Aloha Stadium on February 10, 2007.
Jasmine also landed a weekly MTV News/TRL show that follows the American Idol Season 6 follies. She’s also will be making an appearance on three American Idol national follow-up shows: “American Idol Extra, “American Idol Tonight, and “It’s your Call” with Lynn Doyle. And airing in February on the “Trya Banks Show“, she will be a celebrity judge on a kids’ talent contest called “Small Kids/Big Talent”, so watch for that.

“To this day I’m that girl from Hawaii with the flower in her hair,” says Trias, 20. After going on tour in the Philippines, Trias cut a solo CD there. She also appeared in a Hawaiian music act in Vegas earlier this year (pictured). And though she plans to move to L.A. to get into acting, “I also want to open up a salon and a spa,” says Trias. “That’s always been my dream.”
