POD (Photos Of the Day)
Dog gone…It’s the “Year Of The Boar”.
Last night, thousands gathered in Chinatown for a block party to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The annual “Night In Chinatown” featured a parade along Hotel St. with marchers, pagent queens, martial artists and of course, dancing lions. The festivities continued throughout the day and night on Maunakea St. and Hotel St., where party goers enjoyed great food, entertainment, martial arts demonstrations, singing and dancing and crafts.
People born in the Year Of the Boar are known to be kind, generous and courageous. They are sincere and honest, and make diligent students and intelligent business people. Because of their keen attention to details and accuracy, Boars are most effective when their skill of precision are required.
Here are more photos from the event. Enjoy.
