Dream Duet: Yuna Ito and Celine Dion - A Reality

Yuna Ito and Celine Dion

It’s a reality, the next single from JPop singer Yuna Ito (who is from Honolulu and graduated from McKinley High School in 2001) will be a duet with International Superstar Celine Dion and it will be released next year on January 16th in Japan. The single will be entitled, “Anata ga Iro Kagiru ~A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN~”, a song that’s originally from Celine Dion’s new album “Taking Chances” called “A World to Believe In”. This ballad features Yuna singing in Japanese/English and Celine in English, and will be the new au LISMO CM (Commercial) song.

Earlier this year, several Japanese artists participated in a Celine Dion tribute album, and Ito sang the opening track, “My Heart Will Go On.” Dion was reportedly taken with Ito’s voice, and she suggested a duet. (Source: Tokyograph)

Just FYI the song is called Anata ga IrU KagirI.

I love the fact that both singers in this song are singing in a language that is not really their native one (Yuna’s being English and Celine’s being French).
