Today, I’ve upgraded to WordPress 2.5.1 from 2.2.2 sucessfully via the Wordpress Automatic Upgrade plugin. Everything went well, except it didn’t reactive my plugins….oh well, I just activated it manually. So far, there’s no problem as I can see.
The updated version of WordPress includes over 70 fixes. Here are some of the highlights:

The Annual LGBTQ Pride Parade just wrapped up a few moments ago. The parade started around 9am and began at Magic Island, Ala Moana Beach park, through Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue and concluded at Kapiolani Park.

Thousands of locals and tourists gathered on Kalakaua Avenue for the 3rd Annual WAIKIKI by MOONLIGHT on Saturday night. The event featured great food from various restuarants and lots of local entertainment including Halau Hula Olana, Teresa Bright, Kalapana, Mana’o Company and of course, the legendary band from Japan, TUBE.

Last night, a popular Japanese band called TUBE (chuubu) performed for a large crowd at this year’s WAIKIKI by MOONLIGHT block party on Kalaukaua Avenue. Every year the group or a member of the group comes to Hawaii every year to present a donation to Easter Seals Hawaii.
