Popular Japanese Band TUBE Rocks WAIKIKI by MOONLIGHT 2008
Last night, a popular Japanese band called TUBE (chuubu) performed for a large crowd at this year’s WAIKIKI by MOONLIGHT block party on Kalaukaua Avenue. Every year the group or a member of the group comes to Hawaii every year to present a donation to Easter Seals Hawaii.
This year was very special one, instead of making an appearance, all the members of TUBE (Nobuteru Maeda -- vocals, Michiya Haruhata -- guitar, Hideyuki Kakuno -- bass and Ryoji Matsumoto -- drums) gave a special performance for a large crowd (locals and toursist, especially the Japanese fans). They sang three of their best hits, “Beach Time”, “Season In The Sun” and “Koi shite Mucho”.

TUBE last perfomed for a concert back in June 2005 at Fort DeRussy in Waikiki. The first time I saw TUBE in concert was at Aloha Stadium on June 1, 2000.
