7th Annual Korean Festival Highlights

A cultural experience in Waikiki.
Thousands head out to Kapiolani Park and Bandstand in Waikiki yesterday (July 12, 2008) for the 7th Annual Korean Festival. Locals and visitors from around the world came to enjoy and experience the Korean culture. There were Korean foods, cultural tents, food demonstration, keiki (kids) activities and inflatables, entertainment, dance, song contest and more.
It was an all day event that started at 10 in the morning and lasted into the night (9pm). Capping off the festival, was a special performance by award-winning recording Korean pop star, Kim Se Hwan. It was a very fun and exciting day experiencing the Korean culture, without leaving the island.
