56th Aloha Festivals Waikiki Ho’olaule’a Highlights

The Block Party Of All Block Parties
On Friday night last week, Kalakaua Avenue was transformed into Hawaii’s largest block party in celebration of Aloha Festivals’ 56th Waikiki Ho’olaule’a. This year’s theme was “HULA – The Art Of Hawaiian Dance“.
Unlike previous years, the block party was slightly reduced in size and didn’t quite stretch all the way to Kapahulu Avenue. Still, tens of thousands – locals and vistors – enjoyed a wonderful night of great hula, local entertainment, Hawaiian Crafts, Lei vendors and lots of ono-licious foods.

The Aloha Festivals Royal Court Appearance
The Waikiki Ho’laule’a kicked off at 6:30 PM with the arrival of the Royal Court and continued with non-stop local entertainment on various stages from 7 PM til 10 PM.
