The Santa Claus display at Ala Moana Center is already up and stands atop a parking lot (makai side) on the second level, facing Ala Moana Boulevard.

As you might already know, Ala Moana Center’s owner is facing bankruptcy if it fails to refinance or extend a $1 billion debt by December 1st. Too make the matters worse, another $3.07 billion in debt is due next year.
Will this be a very Merry Christmas for the world’s largest open-air shopping center?
