Christmas 2008 Highlights: Honolulu City Lights Kicks Off The Holiday Season At Honolulu Hale

O Christmas Tree! Oh Christmas Tree…
This past Saturday, tens of thousands gathered at Honolulu Hale and in Downtown to celebrate the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree. Now in it’s 24th year, the annual Honolulu City Lights marks the official opening of the Holiday Season and this year’s theme is “Ku’u Home” (Our Home). An Electric Parade and a free Holiday Concert at the Skygate area followed right after the tree lighting.

Here Comes Santa Claus…
Now til the end of the year, you can enjoy all the holiday displays at Honolulu Hale (City Hall) and the Civic grounds. Inside Honolulu Hale, you’ll be dazzled by the wonderful City Employee’s Christmas Tree Exhibits, Wreath displays, entertainment and nightly visits by the Jolly one himself, Santa Claus.
From Hawaii to the World, Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas)!
