Saw the sign for the Bon Dance at Kapahulu Center on Campbell Avenue. It’s this Saturday night only, August 22, 2009. Games for kids start at 5pm. Maybe the music starts around 6 or 6:30 pm and goes until 10 pm. The tower or yagura for the Fukushima Bon Dance Club is already set up in the parking lot. This is one of my favorite bon dances and I try to make it every year!

There’s usually one at the Japanese Language School and community center on Campbell Avenue in Kapahulu in August. I don’t have their info onhand, but they hang a sign on the fence. If I remember, when I see it I’ll send you the info :-)
