25 Years Of Honolulu City Lights Celebrations

Highlights from this year’s Honolulu City Lights Tree Lighting Ceremony and Electric Light Parade in Downtown Honolulu. Now in it’s 25th year, the event took place fronting Honolulu Hale on December 5, 2009.

The City and County of Honolulu will flick the switch tonight at the 25th Honolulu City Lights. An electric parade will follow after the tree lighting ceremony. Happy Holidays everyone!

This evening, thousands gathered at Honolulu Hale for the annual Honolulu City Lights Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. A little after 6:30 p.m., the countdown began and the mayor switched on the Christmas lights.
